What are RiseUp Ministry Groups

and why should you join one?

Ministry Groups are small gatherings of people that meet in the area surrounding Menifee/Winchester.  They’re designed to help facilitate growth and maturity in Christ through fellowship, activities, shared meals, prayer, and conversational Bible study.   Attending a Ministry Group will provide opportunities for you to be edified (1 Thessalonians 5:11), equipped (Ephesians 4:12), and encouraged in the Lord (Hebrews 3:13).

The Biblical Basis for Home Groups can be found throughout the 2nd Chapter of the Book of Acts. The church exploded, and evangelism flourished as ” the people met weekly in the temple courts, and daily from house to house.”

RiseUp Home Groups meet weekly for 8-12 consecutive weeks. There are 3 different sessions throughout the year, with about 6-8 weeks,  between sessions.  Meeting times vary by group, but generally run for about 2 hours.
